Kemal completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of English Translation and Interpretation at Hacettepe University, Ankara. He continued his studies with a Master’s degree in the field of Communication and Media Studies at the Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus with a specific focus on representation of gender in media. He is  currently part of the AHDR Team and works as a Project Assistant and trainer for the ‘Imagine’ Project.
