Hnin Nu Wa is passionate about working for social cohesion. She has significant volunteering experience in this sector.  She has organised the youth, women and teacher network, called Space for Youth to do social work.  She also runs the Space for Youth (SpY) Learning Center where many training activities and workshops for youth, teachers and the community are conducted.  Working as a peace education and civic education trainer but also as a teacher for the youth, she is also a mother of a baby boy and a coordinator of a women's group in the compound where she lives. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts specialized in English in 2005 at Pyay University in Bago Division, she worked as the team leader in a survey project of research service and received the best interviewer award of the Research Service because of her communication skills, leadership skills and good management. Hnin Nu Wa has 7 years experience as a teacher and 4 years experience as a peace education trainer.  Her motto is to value ourselves but respect others.
