Andreas works in the city of El Alto (Bolivia) as a Peace Expert for the German Civil Peace Service. His fields of action include guidance and training for educational actors, PME, and the production of innovative, pedagogical material about violence prevention. He trained in social work in Germany and worked extensively in Colombia (as a volunteer for Peace Brigades International and as an independent peace and conflict consultant), before coming to Bolivia in 2016. He holds an MA in Peace and Reconciliation Studies from the University of Coventry, UK, where his main interests were human rights issues and peace education.
