Dr. Majia Gellin, PhD, MA Education, BA Youth Work, is the director of the programme for restorative approach and mediation in education (VERSO-programme) in Finland. She has been the main method developer and trainer for over 20 years. Gellin completed her PhD dissertation on restorative approach and mediation in Finnish schools in 2019. She has worked earlier as a mediation officer and a voluntary mediator under the victim-offender mediation services. Gellin has also completed the studies of workplace mediation at the University of Helsinki. She is giving lectures on restorative approach and mediation at Univ Helsinki and Univ Lapland in Finland.
